Who Should Use WP Mail SMTP?

What is “White Glove Setup”?
White Glove Setup is a service we offer to all WP Mail SMTP customers. It’s available for SendLayer, SMTP.com, or Brevo.
The service includes WP Mail SMTP plugin installation and setup, configuration adjustments to your DNS for proper email domain name verification, and final testing to confirm everything is working as expected.
To use our White Glove Setup service, you’ll need an account with SendLayer, SMTP.com, or Brevo. You’ll also need a custom domain name. You can purchase the service with your license or add it later by logging in to your account.
If you don’t have the time to fix your emails, or maybe you feel a bit in over your head, we’ve got you covered!
Do I need coding skills to use WP Mail SMTP?
Absolutely not. You can set up WP Mail SMTP without any coding knowledge.
What’s Required to Use WP Mail SMTP?
WP Mail SMTP is a WordPress plugin. In order to use WP Mail SMTP, you must have a self-hosted WordPress site.
You can send emails using your own SMTP email server credentials, or by using our integrations with popular email providers: SendLayer, SMTP.com, Brevo, Amazon SES, Google Workspace / Gmail, Mailgun, Microsoft 365 / Outlook.com, Postmark, SendGrid, SMTP2GO, SparkPost, or Zoho Mail.
Will WP Mail SMTP slow down my site?
Absolutely not. WP Mail SMTP is carefully built with performance in mind. We have developed everything using best practices and modern standards to ensure things run smooth and fast.
Does WP Mail SMTP work on non-WordPress sites?
No. WP Mail SMTP is a WordPress SMTP plugin, so it will NOT work on sites that do not use WordPress. You can install it on most self-hosted WordPress sites. (By “self-hosted”, we mean a copy of WordPress that’s installed on a web hosting plan.)
WP Mail SMTP can only be used with the WordPress.com platform if you have the Business plan or higher.
